The hotel was in a very convenient location, near the city center and cathedral. The rooms, however, looked nothing like the photos - very worn down and small, in need of a refresh. The service was friendly but struggled to cope with the busy breakfast rush. The dining experience had a varied selection but needed a makeover. Overall, a good spot for exploring the city, but be prepared for some shortcomings.

Staying above the pub made it easy to enjoy few drinks before bed. Rooms had fresh decor and a comfortable bed, but the bathroom paintwork looked tired. The view of the air conditioning unit right next to the window wasn't ideal, and there were issues with a leaking pan macerator throughout the night.

Rooms

The rooms had a fresh decor and a comfortable bed, but the bathroom paintwork seemed tired. The proximity of the air conditioning unit to the window was not so pleasant, and the pan macerator issue was bothersome.

The hotel's location is lively, with late-night live music which may not suit everyone. However, it is conveniently situated close to the railway station and offers easy access to historic sites.
Dining

The dining experience was very good, even though I didn't have time to enjoy it fully during this visit. The waitress was really attentive, and the fried fish was delicious.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms had everything I needed, but the noise from the main road was quite bothersome. The presence of mold in the room was off-putting, especially considering the contrast between the new and old parts of the building. The service was friendly and helpful, with a few quirky moments. The location was ideal for exploring Worcester, though there were some minor flaws. The dining options varied, and the facilities offered were satisfactory.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms had everything I needed, including a desk and a sitting area, but the noise from the main road was a downside. The presence of mold was disappointing.
Service

The service was friendly and helpful, although there were some quirky moments like the staff wearing a baseball cap while cooking breakfast. Overall, they were accommodating and good with pets.
Location
8.0
The hotel is conveniently located on the edge of Worcester's pedestrian area, making it convenient for exploring the city. Despite some flaws, it's a good spot for sightseeing.
Dining

The dining options were varied, offering everything from scrambled eggs to a full English breakfast. The service was attentive but could be improved.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities were decent, with everything you'd expect from a city center hotel. Nothing extraordinary but satisfactory.
